On behalf of Dreamcatcher Children Charitable Fund, we just want to express our very grateful thanks to all the committee and all involved with the Richards Castle Soapbox Derby for the wonderful day that was organised 3rd July 2016 and of course for considering inviting and choosing us as a beneficiary of their phenomenal fundraising activities.
We absolutely thoroughly enjoyed the day and cannot extol it’s virtues enough, there is plenty to appreciate for the family in addition to watching the fun of the soapbox derby and the setting is beautiful at Hanway Common!.
We are deeply humbled to be in receipt of a cheque for £2750 which is overwhelming, and we just cannot thank all involved with the Richards Castle Soapbox Derby enough….it’s an eye watering amount and the most we have ever been fortunate enough to receive in one go! So please all get along and have a fab day out on the 9th July 2017 for the next Richards Castle Soapbox derby

Thanks to you fabulous Dreamcatcher Children supporters we have been able to reserve an adapted cottage for a 4 year old boy and his family to spend a week at Center Parcs October.... they were over the moon and it gives them a positive focus throughout the years trials & tribulations of procedures and hospital appointments ....THANKYOU! I can also now tell you they had a fabulous time and were able to hire an adapted wheelchair bike which helped the young fella have some brilliant experiences and a wonderful time was had by all the family to quote them" It was amazing! We had such a wonderful time full of cycling, walking, swimming and general good fun... we were able to hire the wheelchair bike which our little boy of 4 absolutely loved, his face lit up and there were squals of joy riding over the bumps or whoshing down the hills. He was also very excited at the daily trip to the swimming pool where he bobbed around in the wave pool and floated in the warm bubbles by the fountains...it was lovely to spend time just doing nice fun family things which wouldn't have been possible without you and for that we are truly grateful" Thank you all you wonderful Dreamcatcher Children supporters
What a fabulous evening it was at
the LORD HILL Shrewsbury last night 30th October, Paul
Ray(Rushworth), Paul Challinor and Millie an out standing 16 year
old singer who must have a terrific future on stage in musicals or
just as a solo artiste and not forgetting Geoff Rushworth who
displayed his usual outstanding close up magic!! Together with all
their friends and family they entertained and raised monies to
benefit Multiple Sclerosis and DREAMCATCHER CHILDREN! All
giving up their time and energies freely so others less fortunate
may benefit and of course the monies raised would not have been
possible without all you wonderful people who attended and paid to
watch this music, magic and mayhem and as many found out when Paul
R sings Crying ...bring an umbrella in future! Thank you also
for the donations from those who could not attend too and money
raised on the raffle! We are blessed to have such caring supportive
folk in our community!

DREAMCATCHER WELCOMED YOU TO THE SANTA SPECIAL!!
This last years event took place on the 16thDecember 2012 and was largely courtesy of the generous donations to DREAMCATCHER contributed in support of Ron & Dianne’s expedition to Climb Mount Kilimanjaro, the highest free standing mountain in the world. So a big big thank you goes to all those that contributed and to all the other supporters of DREAMCATCHER’S Charitable Children’s Fund in providing this totally free festive experience and for brightening the lives of so many children and their families from Shropshire & Mid Wales
A fabulous time was had by over 150 children and their families in celebrating a Christmas experience together!
A 45 minute ride on the Santa Special on which Father Christmas and his helpers met the children and handed out a gift to every single child much to theirs and their families enjoyment.
Following this fine experience the parties returned to Llanfair Caereinion railways station to the strains of the barrel organ and such festive tunes as 'come all ye faithful'
Finally snug in the warm station cafe they enjoyed a mince pie and a drink before returning safely home with memories of a splendid family day out in Mid Wales and their encounter with Father Christmas, and clutching their presents a tangible reminder of a happy day!
